Focus areas

WFEO has six focus areas based on the smart specialisation strategies in West Finland regions. Focus areas are energy, bio economy, automation and robotics, cybersecurity, education, and health and wellbeing.

Networks

Networks

We are co-leads in two ERRIN working groups: Energy and Climate, and ICT. We are also active in ERRIN working groups Bioeconomy and Science & Education for society. Our regional stakeholders are members in ERIAFF, CPMR, ECSO, ECHAlliance and euRobotics.

West Finland European Office (WFEO) is the regional office of West Finland, representing the interests of Ostrobothnia, South Ostrobothnia, Satakunta and Central Finland in Brussels.
